BSAB 24 update
Book Links congratulates one of our BSAB presenters, Briony Stewart on winning the CBCA Book of the Year Award – Early Childhood 2024. We all look forward to seeing Briony in October at our wonderful BSAB conference. There are still spaces available in Briony’s Picture Book Intensive workshop on Sunday 20 October.
Bookings have been coming in for BSAB 2024, and as we approach our first deadline, we thought we should remind you to make your booking, so you don’t miss out. Many appointments with editors are booked out and have wiat lists, and the writing workshop program with Peter Carnavas and Amy Kaufman is nearly full, so check the bookings page on the website to see what is available as of today.
Important Dates for BSAB 19-20 October 2024
- 20 August (if participating) – Queries for pitching to editors on what manuscript they would like you to submit.
- 4 September – Final date for submission of manuscript documents for editor appointments.
- 10 October – Submit First Page for live pitching.
- 20 October – Bring live 3 minute pitches to the conference. No need to submit this to BSAB staff.
Note: You need to book for either Saturday or Sunday first before you can book an editor/agent appointment or the Saturday night networking event. The link to book these options is 1n the TryBooking confirmation email you will receive. Numbers are limited for the Saturday evening Networking event, so first to book get the tickets. NOTE: Networking event has 9 spaces left as of 16.08.24.)
