Finola Fox – Fabulous and Fascinating
Saturday’s event featuring The Fabulous Finola Fox’s illustrator Kerry Argent, editor Lisa Riley and designer Karen Scott was fascinating. The audience were rewarded for venturing out in such awful weather by the story of how Finola was produced. The process started in 2004, and was surprisingly complex and drawn out. It was clear that all of the people involved have incredibly good attention to detail.
With lots of proofs, originals, and drawings to look at, and lovely wine and cheese to enjoy, it added up to a fabulous event.

It was a fabulous event. I had a great time. Very interesting to find out the ins and outs of how a book is put together. So much time and effort! Kerry is an amazing artist.
