The 2025 Book Links Short Story competition

This is a competition for writers aged 18+.

Entries should be a short story, maximum of 1500 words, suitable for children of any age up to 15 years old.

Entries CLOSED Friday 4 April 2025.

The shortlist was announced Saturday, 3 May 2025 at the Write Links meeting.

The winner was announced at the annual Narelle Oliver Lecture on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.

The winner will receive $250.00, and they will be invited to have their story published on Book Links website.
